Meeting Sharmin

8th April, Friday -- Yay! I finally got to meet Sharmin! I took the train to Zurich, & that stupid train was delayed for 10 minutes ! I had to wait in the freakin' cold for extra 10 minutes! What the hell!! It was so cold coz it was raining --again!

Anyway, at 5.40 I met up with Sharmin with her host mum & sisters. Christine was there too. As Christine had to leave at 6, we had a group picture. The lady whom Sharmin asked to help us take the pictures turned out to be from Indonesia. Yay! Finally met someone who speaks Malay too! Sharmin & I started conversing in Malay too. Kami tak mahu lupa Bahasa Melayu. Tak boleh lupa akal.Hehe... =P

As Sharmin's host mum had to take Delia (younger sis) to a birthday party, Aliza (elder sis) took us to this cozy, little coffee shop for a warm drink. According to her, this shop is one of the oldest coffee places in Zurich. & for every season, they have different decorations. The shop looks really sweet with all the flowers.

As it was 6 something liao, most shops were closed. Unlike Malaysia, it would be bustling with activities, as it was also a Friday. We walked first to a chocolate shop. There, I met some Asians who looked like Chinese. Then I heard them speaking Cantonese. I think they were from Hong Kong. For the 1st time since I've arrived, I finally get to hear some Cantonese (spoken from others, not me). Next, we hit H&M. Hung around there for quite a long time, till about 8. That was the only shop where we could go & wasn't closed.

Finally at 8 something, we had dinner. At where? The cheapest place you can get a meal. Ya! Correct. Mac Donalds. Again. It doesn't really matter where we ate, it's the company that counts, rite?

We took the same train back together. It was a great time hanging out with Sharmin & her host sis. In the train we chatted, we laughed. It was fun. I'd be looking forward to meeting her soon in Solothurn! =)
