Zurich & Slumber Party

16th April 2005, Saturday -- Mami & Papi went to Zurich early for a theatre show. As I didn't have to reach Zurich by 8pm, I didn't hitch a ride with them, or rather 'dap shun fong che'. At 6.30, I left the house & it was raining--again! It was so damn bloody cold! I had to run to the train station or else I would've missed my train. Yeah, typical me, rushing at the last minute...=P

Well, at least I managed to get on the train! I reached Zurich at 8 & Sharmin was already waiting for me. Apparently, we took the same train from Aarau, but I didn't see her. We waited for the other people at the meeting point. Soon, we met Izra, Taina, Laura,Flavio, Rui, Courtney, Victoria, Christine, etc. It was really great meeting them again! =)

We chatted & well, I was the only one who haven't started school. So yeah, I couldn't tell them any thing about school, but I could tell them what fun I had since my Deutschkurs ended. =) We chatted till about 8.45 & then the old AFSers brought us to this 'cool' place near the train station. It wasn't really a disco, it was more like a big 2 storey place. The first floor was kinda like a hangout place while the other storey was the dance floor. It was the same like the disco dance floor. Dark & with all the disco lights. Most of us brought along beers & alchohol & stuff. It was undeniably a party & practically about 50 percent of the ppl there were smoking. Old AFSers & newbies too.

We hung around the 1st floor 1st, then we hit the dance floor. It was fun dancing to the music--at first. There were a lot of Brazilian & Mexican & Spanish music. At 1st it was pretty cool, but then they kinda kept repeating the music & we were kinda expecting internation music like Lose my Breath & stuff... Some of us were kinda dissapointed with the music selection. However, we still did have a good time dancing to the music. I learnt to samba! Tainan & Laura taught me how, but gotta practise lah.

Off & on we would go up to rest for a while. Boy, some people were already drunk & tipsy. Hehe.. one guy was really wiped out really early. He even vomitted on the floor & then just layed dead drunk on the couch fast asleep. I guess he was the only one who was THAT drunk. My dear friend, ********* , was also already tipsy...hehe..... =PThere were a lot of people at that party. Mostly exchange students around the world who are in Switzerland. The old one & newbies like us.

By 11.30, we planned to leave & Sharmin called her host parents to let them know that she would be bunking at my place for the night. Izra & Sharmin both followed me home for the nite. We took the train from Zurich to Aarau, & then we took the night bus back to Reinach. The place where the bus stopped, I had no idea how to walk home from there! I had no clue how to walk home from there as there was not much lights! I couldn't recognise any of the buildings!

Lucikly in the bus, I recognised the street sign, so all 3 of us , walked all the way back, in the freaking cold & rain. I could barely feel my thighs & feet! We actually reached Reinach at 1.20am, but then we took the looooong way home coz I didn't recognise the place we got down from. In the end, we reached home at about 1.50am. I would rather walk with my friends at night here than walking like that in KL, coz here is safer than KL & I guess you can't argue with that. However, it was a fun experience though. How often do I get to walk at night, with my 2 buddies, back from a party in Zurich, in the rain & cold?! Pretty memorable huh? =P

We finally reached home, change into clean & dry clothes & then went down to the kitchen for supper. As we ate, we chit-chatted & had a good time laughing & joking. By 3.15 am, we were finally in bed & slept till 12.30 the next Sunday morning. =) Of course lah, slept at 3 something in the morning, we need our rest....

17th April 2005. Sunday -- Woke up at 12.30 midday. By the time we were all washed up & went down for lunch, it was already 1pm. I introduced my Mami & Anja to Izra & Sharmin. Papi wasn't home as he went for golf. During lunch, we chatted of our whole memorable experience last night. It was indeed memorable for all 3 of us. Can't argue with that! =) As we ate, we joked, laughed,etc. After lunch, Sharmin helped me sign up for this handphone thingy so that I can have send 20 messages to wherever I want around the world for free. Yay! At least I get to save some money on HP credit. What fun would it be without having a photo session! We looked at photos I uploaded into the computer & we also took photos too. Meanwhile, Mami passed me a mail I received from home! It was a Birthday card for me from all my good friends back in Malaysia! Thanks u guys! To Siu Yean for the letter, & to everyone who signed the card! Thank you guys so, so much! You guys just made my day even better!!! =) Thanks!!!

We watched 'Never been Kissed' . Micheal Vartan is soooo cute! No wonder Izra likes him so much... =P After the movie, I switched to the music channel where there were dance songs like J.Lo, & 50 Cents. All of us agreed that they should've played this kind of music too at the party & not only repeating those Spanish, Mexican & Brazilian music. Not to say that the music wasn't nice, coz they were nice, but still they could've made a better mixture of dance music. Therefore, to make up for the dance music we didn't have at the party, we got up & started dancing while the music in the TV was on! What fun we had!

Before Izra left, again we took photos in the garden. Boy, the wind was definitely the chill factor. It was cold....grrr..... But well, we still hung around the garden taking photos anyway! =)

At 6.45, Mami sent Izra to the train station & we had a group hug b4 she left. As Sharmin would take the 7.45 train, we went home & had rhusti for dinner. At 7.45, Mami sent Sharmin to the train station. After that, Mami drove to the place where we got down from the bus. It was actually so close to home, & as I didn't know, we took the loong way home! Well anyway, at least I knew how to get home safe & sound! Ahhh...it was definitely a fun time we had together. Truely fun & memorable. Looking forward to our next meeting, sayangs!! =)
