Snap Back to Reality
The Goodbye part at Zurich airport was one of the worst things I had to experience. I cried. Mami cried. Pat cried. in Short, all of us cried, joined by our hostfamilies and friends.
The Crying Fest didnt end there. It continued or should i say worsened in the plane when all of us started reading our remembrance book together. Puffy eyes with tears running down our faces, we didnt give a damn of how terrible we looked from all the crying. REading my own book written from my classmates and good friends and of course my hostfamily, I realised that how much they made an impact in my life. These are the people who made my stay worth while, taught me things, accepted me into their lifes for who I am.......
Despite all the crying, I couldnt sleep the whole way back. Watched more than 2 movies...oh btw, I should add that Msians should be proud of our own Msian Airlines.... it's choon...thats all I can say...
Getting used to the f******** hot weather was not the only thing I had to get use to. My English and Chinese was kind cacated. Malay was even worse. The first thing I said to my new Indo nesian maid was ' Halo, ich bin Chong'en, wie heisst du' ? She looked at me wondering was I talking to her. I then finally realized that what I had done. Great. Now I cant even speak the languages I used to speak, at least not as fluent. Takes time.
Typing was another issue. the 'y' and 'z'. Keep typing the wrong key!!!!
anw, things r ok now...not the best...but trying my best to adjust back to my ol' life. My exchange year was GREAT and i have no regrets.
I already miss mami, my hostfamily, my friends, my life in Switzerland.
Time to snap back to reality. Damn
